Belly Bowls
Celebrate the beauty of pregnancy with a handcrafted Belly Bowl, created as a lasting keepsake of this special season.
During your 60-minute appointment, you'll be welcomed into my home studio with a cup of tea. In the cooler months, we'll settle in beside the fire, and when the weather is warm, we'll work outside overlooking the surrounding countryside, creating a calm and relaxed experience.
Using a soft slab of clay, I'll gently mould your growing bump to capture its unique shape in a tasteful and timeless way. Together, we'll chat through your vision, choosing your preferred glaze colour and any personalised stamping, whether it's your baby's name, initials, due date, or a meaningful word or phrase.
During the dry time on the stomach I will offer a lemon foot bath so you can really relax and unwind during this process.
Back in the studio, your Belly Bowl is carefully refined, dried, fired, glazed, and fired once more. Because every piece is made entirely by hand, please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for completion.
Designed to be both beautiful and functional, your Belly Bowl can be displayed in your home, used to hold jewellery or treasured keepsakes, or simply admired as a sculptural piece. Formed from the shape that once held your baby, it becomes a timeless reminder of this fleeting season of motherhood.
